Take a Deep Breath

Erika Browning, March 15, 2020

Hello, neighbors.  Let’s all take a step back and breathe.  March 19th, the first day of Spring is just around the corner and the bluebonnets will be blooming before we know it.  Look around, notice the new season, and take a deep breath.

There is a lot of information, and a lot of misinformation, about the outbreak of COVID-19.  We believe strongly in getting information from original sources as much as possible. Below is a compilation of primary sources, so Duncanville residents can be informed and know where to find updated information as it comes available.  News outlets can be helpful, but they get their information from somewhere, so why not go directly to the source?

As we find out about local organizations and faith groups who are reaching out and offering services to people affected by school closures, loss of job income, and quarantine-related hardships, we will pass the information along.
If you know of organizations or faith groups offering help, please let us know. This is a community effort, and we want to support each other in every way we can. If you have a need and cannot find help, please message us at [email protected].

And remember. Breathe.
